Description

Ibuprofen Gel is ideal to relieve pain and inflammation of muscular and joint conditions such as sprains, strains, backache, rheumatism and minor arthritic conditions.

Massage the gel into the skin for fast and effective pain relief.

Ingredients:

Ibuprofen 5.0 % w/w.

Usage and Instructions:

Adults and children over 14 years:

  • Use the top of the cap to pierce the metal seal.
  • Squeeze 5-10cm of the gel (containing 50-100mg of ibuprofen) from the tube and lightly rub into the affected area until absorbed.
  • Use every 4 hours as required, with no more than 4 doses in any 24 hour period.
  • Wash hand after each application.
  • Do not use on children under 14 years of age.

Do not use on children under 14 years of age.

Do not use if:

  • You are allergic to ibuprofen or any of the ingredients, aspirin or any other painkillers.
  • You have ever had an allergic reaction, including asthma, inflammation of the inside of the nose (rhinitis) or nettle rash (urticaria) brought on by using aspirin, ibuprofen or similar painkillers.
  • You have a medical condition which affects how well your kidneys work.
  • You are pregnant.
  • Consult your doctor before use if you are taking aspirin or any other pain relieving medicines.

Side Effects:

Using Ibuprofen gel on your skin may occasionally cause a skin rash, itching or irritation at the application site. If you find Ibuprofen Gel irritates your skin, stop using it and ask your pharmacist for advice.
