Benadryl Allergy Relief Plus Decongestant Capsules 12 combine the antihistamine acrivastine 8mg with the decongestant pseudoephedrine 60mg to relieve hay fever and allergy symptoms and a blocked nose. Ages 12 and over: one capsule up to 3 times a day. Not for high blood pressure, heart disease, an overactive thyroid, or in pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Do not take Benadryl Plus Capsules if you:
• Have very high blood pressure or severe heart disease
• Have ever had a bad reaction to any of the ingredients in Benadryl Plus, or to the antihistamine triprolidine
• Are taking or have taken within the last two weeks, Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (MAOIs)
• Are taking the antibacterial agent furazolidone
• Have kidney problems
