Description

Canesten Hydrocortisone Cream

Canesten Plus Clotrimazole and Hydrocortisone Cream is a broad spectrum anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory cream. It contains two active ingredients: clotrimazole and hydrocortisone. Clotrimazole is an antifungal which treats the root cause of fungal skin infections. Hydrocortisone is a mild topical steroid which reduces the swelling, redness and itching associated with inflammation of the skin. Canesten Plus is recommended for the treatment and relief of symptoms of fungal nappy rash, inflamed athlete’s foot, jock itch and fungal skin rash.

Uses of Canesten Hydrocortisone Cream

Treatment of inflamed fungal sweat rash (candidal intertrigo) and athlete's foot.

Ingredients of Canesten Hydrocortisone Cream

  • Clotrimazole 1%w/w
  • Hydrocortisone Acetate 1%w/w

Dosage of Canesten Hydrocortisone Cream

    Adults, elderly and children aged 10 years and over: apply thinly and evenly to the affected area twice daily and rub in gently.
    If pregnant consult a doctor before using. Do not use if breast feeding.
    Maximum treatment period 7 days.
    Children under 10 years: not recommended
