Capasal Therapeutic Shampoo 

Capasal Therapeutic Shampoo is used to treat scaly, itchy skin conditions affecting the scalp, such as psoriasis, seborrhoeic dermatitis or dandruff.

Capasal Therapeutic Shampoo is for the treatment of dry and irritated scalp conditions such as seborrhoeic eczema, seborrhoeic dermatitis, dandruff, psoriasis and cradle cap in children. Capasal Therapeutic Shampoo may also be used to remove previous scalp applications.

Capasal Therapeutic Shampoo Ingredients:  

  • Salicylic Acid 0.5%w/w
  • Coconut Oil 1.0%w/w
  • Distilled Coal Tar 1.0%w/w

Capasal Shampoo Uses:

A shampoo for the treatment of dry, scaly scalp conditions such as seborrhoeic eczema, seborrhoeic dermatitis, dandruff, psoriasis and cradle cap in children. It may also be used to remove previous scalp applications.


How does Capasal Therapeutic Shampoo work?
This shampoo contains a combination of coal tar, salicylic acid and coconut oil.

Coal tar is mildly antiseptic that relieves itching and helps to reduce the excessive hardening, thickening and scaling of the skin.
Salicylic acid helps to reduce further shedding of skin cells from the affected area.
Coconut oil is added to the preparation to soften and lubricate the skin.

Capasal Shampoo Dosage: 

Adults, elderly, children and infants: use as a shampoo, daily if required, reducing to once or twice a week as the condition improves.

What is Capasal therapeutic shampoo?
Capasal therapeutic shampoo is a type of treatment for psoriasis affecting the scalp, dandruff and more. It contains three active ingredients, coal tar, coconut oil and salicylic acid.
