Description

Perrigo Sildenafil Tablets are only intended for men 18 years and older who are experiencing erectile dysfunction (ED). Erectile Dysfunction (ED) has been defined as the inability to obtain and/or maintain an erection hard enough for satisfactory sexual intercourse. It can occur occasionally or frequently, and men are able to self-recognise the condition, which can vary in severity from mild (a soft erection) to severe (no erection at all).

It belongs to a group of medicines called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors. It works by relaxing the blood vessels in your penis, allowing blood to flow into your penis when you get sexually excited and causing an erection.

Sildenafil will only help you to get an erection if you are sexually excited (stimulated).

Directions:

  • For oral use.
  • Take 1 tablet approximately one hour before sexual activity.
  • Swallow the tablet whole with water.
  • Do not take more than 1 tablet a day.
  • This medicine starts to work within 30 - 60 minutes.
  • You may take it up to 4 hours before sexual activity.

Warning or Restrictions:

Do NOT take if you: don't have any erection problem, take any nitrate medicine for chest pain or heart failure, take riociguat (or other guanylate cyclase stimulators) for high blood pressure in the lungs, take ritonavir for the treatment of HIV, have been advised by your doctor to avoid sexual activity because of a problem with your heart or blood vessels, have a severe heart or liver problem, have low blood pressure, have ever had severe vision loss or a rare inherited eye disorder, have a deformed penis, have an allergy to any of the ingredients in this product.

Side Effects:

Yes, just like all medicines, this treatment may cause side effects in some users. Common side effects include:

  • nausea
  • indigestion
  • stuffy nose and dizziness
  • facial flushing and blurred vision.

It is important that you stop taking this medication and contact your doctor or nearest hospital straight away if you experience any serious side effects, including chest pains, an allergic reaction, skin reactions or rashes or seizures.

Ingredients:

The active substance is sildenafil. Each tablet contains 50 mg of sildenafil (as the citrate).
