Description

Sominex one a night sleep aid 8 tablets

Sominex is for those occasions when you cannot get to sleep because your natural routine is disturbed. For temporary (short-term) relief only.

USES: 
Night-time sleep aid for the correction of temporary sleep disturbance.

INGREDIENTS:

Each Tablet contains Promethazine Hydrochloride Ph. Eur. 20mg
Also contains Lactose
Carbohydrate Content 0.3g per Tablet

DOSAGE:
Over 16 years: 1 tablet at bedtime. May be taken up to one hour after going to bed when sleep is difficult to achieve. Not to be used for more than 7 days without medical advice. Under 16 years: not to be given except on medical advice.

How many Sominex can you take?
Swallow Sominex Night with water. Adults (including the elderly) and adolescents 16 years and over: Take 2 tablets about 20 minutes before bedtime. Do not take more than 2 tablets per night.

How long before bed should you take Sominex?
As a sleep aid, take Sominex within 30 minutes before bedtime. You must chew the chewable tablet before you swallow it.

Which is better Sominex or Nytol?
Some also found Sominex more effective for sending them to sleep than Nytol, so it really is a matter of trial and error. Sominex has an official maximum usage of seven days, compared with two weeks for Nytol One-A-Night.
